About This Game
Command a group of space settlers trying to establish a base on a remote world.
Build your base, mine resources, grow food, research technologies, survive disasters, and experience what near-future humans might be up against.
Planetbase 2 features a unique blend of real-time strategy, city building and survival gameplay. You design and automate your base at a high level as much as possible, but when required, you can control individual people, robots or vehicles.
Colonize the Solar System
Colonize Mars and the worlds beyond. Each location posing its own unique and increasingly difficult challenge.
Mine and Manufacture
Make use of in-situ resources in order to build a self sustaining colony. Harvest regolith, mine metals, establish manufacturing industries and do whatever it takes for your colony to survive and thrive.
Produce Food
Cultivate vegetables in giant greenhouses, synthesize meat in the lab, produce food in any way possible. Keep your people alive and achieve self sufficiency.
Harness the power of Nature
Collect energy from whatever sources are available in each world. Develop the systems required to harvest and store energy from The Sun, Wind, Nuclear and more.
Withstand Planetary Hazards
Encounter planet specific natural disasters like Solar Flares, Sandstorms, Meteors, Dust Devils and more.
Research
Acquire technologies that will alter gameplay in a meaningful way and make it possible for your base to develop from a small outpost to a vibrant colony.
Construct Vehicles and Robots
Manufacture or import vehicles and robots that will aid with the hardest tasks in the settlement and increase your chances of survival.
Take Control
Automated systems will allow you to manage your colony without micromanagement most of the time. However, when the need arises, you will be able to give specific commands to individuals, so they do what you need them to.
