Yes! Our methodology looks at peak performance, not total days tracked. A game that releases late in the month and achieves exceptional scores for multiple consecutive days can absolutely compete for the monthly ranking. The system is designed to be fair to late entries while rewarding sustained excellence.

All data comes from Steam's official public APIs: player counts (updated every few hours), top seller rankings (daily), review counts and sentiment (multiple times daily), and game news feeds. We combine these signals into trending scores using a transparent, documented methodology.
